Enjoy this easy and delicious farm-to-table Lightened Up Mississippi Pot Roast recipe from CGMN volunteer, Sarah Kern! It truly doesn’t get much easier than this, with a dump-and-go slow cooker method that is sure to fit into the busiest of lifestyle- whether you’re chasing kids, cows, dreams, or all of the above.
Here’s what Sarah has to say about the recipe: “We raise beef on our farm and growing up, roast beef was one of my least favorite meals. This recipe and a crockpot changed all of that. This recipe is now one of our family favorites. Served with mashed potatoes and a warm loaf of bread, it sure hits the spot.”
