Farmer, wife and mother
My family lives & farms in Osceola, WI. My husband and I both work off the farm in the HVAC-R industry, and my three daughters (12, 14, and 16) also help on the farm. When I started as a CommonGround volunteer over a decade ago, our farm produced corn and soybeans. We have greatly expanded our farm to include a registered Hereford cow/calf operation along with show animals that our daughters show for 4-H, a large cash hay operation, chickens (both layers & meat birds) and breeding goats. I have become the neighborhood egg dealer. Our family is very involved in our church and in our 4-H club.
