We are small hobby farm just getting started but have goals to continue to grow our herd and crop ground totals. We are new parents with a 1 year old and I want to have him have the same experience I did growing up on the farm so he can continue the legacy! We raise black Angus cow-calf pairs and grow hay, and either corn or soybeans. I work off the farm full-time as an agronomist as well.
Do you farm with family?
Kind of! My husband’s family has a dairy farm, and my family has a beef operation, but we are farming on our own!
What are your hobbies?
Crafting, canning/gardening, hiking, spending time with our little guy
Why is sharing information about agriculture and farming important to you?
I grew up on cow/calf angus + crop farm and found a passion in the industry from a young age. Growing up on the farm is what inspired me to go to pursue a degree in ag!
