My husband and I took over my family farm 20 years ago and it has been a great place to raise our family. We grow corn and soybeans and have been investing in equipment to make improvements to the sustainability of our farm.
Yes, my husband and I currently farm the my family farm. We took over for my father more than 20 years ago after leaving our jobs in the metro and moving home. It was my husband's dream to farm and it has been a great place to raise our children. My dad, who is over 80 years old, still loves to help out on the farm in spring and fall.

I am very interested in continuing to build trust with consumers about how their food is grown. I am a breast cancer survivor and I have experienced first hand how food fears can grow. I want people to understand the many choices that go into growing healthy and sustainable crops.
We have spent time investing in new grain handling equipment and are working on water quality certification. Both of these projects have required a lot of research and long-range planning. They are expensive investments that we are committed to in making improvements to the long-term sustainability of our farm.
