I grew up on a farm in Iowa and my husband and I are now raising our three children on his family farm. We’ve transitioned the farm over to more conservation practices over the past decade and are proud of how we are protecting our land. I am an active member of the National Corn Growers Association and 4-H. I also help at a local preschool and love working with kids!

We have various members of our family that help out at different times of the year.

Why is sharing information about agriculture and farming important to you?
As a mom and a farmer, I see all the information out there about food. Good and bad. It’s overwhelming and scary. I don’t want moms to have one more thing to worry about – our food is safe. I also want them to know that we, as farmers, are also consumers too. I grocery shop and have all the info and labels to try to figure out. We’re all in this together!
